The FNC 29 fight show will feature 11 fights, with seven Slovenian representatives competing. The final two contests will determine the heavyweight championship, pitting current champion Matej Batinić against Slovenian fighter Jakob Nedoh. Batinić, 29, expressed his anticipation for the culmination of intense training.
“I’m counting down the days until the end of these hard preparations. I’m ready more than usual, and he is too. I can’t wait for the fight,” he stated.
Nedoh possesses prior experience in title fights. He secured a victory in the PFL European tournament final held in Dublin at the close of 2023, marking a significant achievement for Slovenian mixed martial arts. “In my eyes, this is definitely more valuable and will mean more to me,” Nedoh commented.
“I’ll have to go deep into myself mentally and physically. I’m ready to sacrifice my health and die for this belt.”
