‘Moving the clock from a biological perspective is not something good’

The production team behind the popular television program, “World on Channel A,” is experiencing profound distress. For the past two days, they have been utterly devastated, struggling with a persistent inability to rest. Despite attempting to sleep at night, they find themselves trapped in a state of wakefulness, a feeling of being perpetually alert.

This disruption extends beyond the team, as even children are experiencing difficulty falling asleep and suffering from poor night sleep. The coinciding issues stem from the recent shift to summer time, which has unfortunately robbed everyone of valuable sleep hours during the Saturday-to-Sunday transition. Recognizing the severity of the situation, we consulted with Prof.

Dr. Ljoja Dolenc Grošelj, a recognized expert in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and a specialist in sleep disorders at the Sleep Disorders Center. Dr.

Dolenc Grošelj stated, “The time change is no longer something that is worth doing.” Her assessment highlights the significant impact of this alteration on individuals’ sleep patterns. The team is deeply concerned about the long-term effects of this disrupted night and the need to address the fundamental issue of lost sleep caused by the change in time.
