Moroccans celebrated on the Dutch streets, Koeman does not want to answer for the defeat

In the Schilderswijk neighborhood, celebrations involving large groups of fans took place on the streets, marked by the presence of Moroccan flags, dancing, and fireworks. Hundreds of individuals gathered at a central intersection, creating a festive atmosphere. Witnesses reported that the crowd engaged in exuberant celebration, including kicking balls into the air and interacting with passing vehicles, some of which were climbed upon.

The celebratory mood reportedly shifted significantly approximately an hour into the event with the arrival of riot police. Authorities intervened to manage the gathering, deploying water cannons and batons to disperse the crowd. Journalists from the French press agency AFP observed the ensuing confrontation, noting that the police used batons against some of the youths present.

Following the dispersal, reports indicated that approximately a dozen arrests were made by law enforcement. The incident highlighted the tension between the celebrating fans and the police response. The presence of many Moroccans was noted among the attendees as the events unfolded across the local streets.

The deployment of force by the police to regain control of the situation marked the end of the initial festivities.
