Ms. Etta, who taught the legendary basketball player in high school, is said to have talked a lot about the former student in a hospice where she is currently receiving care, so social worker Wendy made sure the teacher got in touch with the 63-year-old.

“They both laughed, teased each other and reminisced about those days, so we all cried,” said one of the hospice workers to local television WECT 6, adding that both the teacher and her family would always remember her.
