The production team, alongside the show’s prominent cast, have diligently mastered the specific gestures utilized. Actor Matej Zemljič demonstrated the sign for “grandfather,” while Joker Out’s Jan Peteh recalled the gesture representing “boy.” “I certainly hope so,” Zemljič remarked. This unique show is proving beneficial, fostering deeper understanding between hearing and deaf individuals.

Lado Bizovičar emphasized, “This show helps us, hearing people, understand each other a lot better. For the deaf, it also helps us understand each other.”

The event, the inaugural production of its kind, drew an impressive crowd. Approximately half of the audience consisted of the deaf community, experiencing the shared entertainment for the very first time alongside hearing attendees.

Actress Nataša Barbara Gračner shared, “The fact that we can watch a show that is also for the deaf and with sign language interpretation allows them to follow the show the same as we do, has aroused empathy in me.”

Gračner continued, “I enjoyed this show, to be honest, even more than most shows.” Lado Bizovičar added his support to the positive experience.
