Temperatures Across Slovenia Fluctuated Amidst Cold Front Passage

Early on Tuesday, temperatures across Slovenia ranged considerably, with most areas experiencing readings between 5 and 18 degrees Celsius. At 8:00 AM, temperatures were primarily between 9 and 13 degrees Celsius. Ljubljana and Maribor recorded 12 degrees Celsius, while Kranj registered 9 degrees Celsius.

Novigrad measured 13 degrees Celsius, and coastal areas saw warmer temperatures, peaking at 18 degrees Celsius. A significant cold front, originating from the west and north, moved across the country during the morning. Initial temperatures before noon were notably lower, with most locations registering between 5 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Ljubljana cooled to 7 degrees Celsius, Maribor to 6 degrees Celsius, and Kranj to 9 degrees Celsius. The impact of the front was particularly pronounced in mountainous regions. In the Logar Valley and Rateče, temperatures dropped to the freezing point (0 degrees Celsius), while Krvavec and Vršič experienced readings two degrees Celsius below zero.

Kaniža also recorded low temperatures. These fluctuating degrees Celsius highlighted the dynamic weather conditions across Slovenia.
