A shocking bill that upset tourists Summer is a time of vacations, but also of unpleasant surprises. This time, the web caused a stir with the story of two American tourists in Rome who paid as much as 44 euros for two ice cream cones – and this because of additions that they didn’t even order. As Telegraf and Krone reported, the tourists were convinced that certain additions (e.g.
toppings, toppings or decorations) were included in the basic price, but it turned out the opposite on the bill. Each “small addition” was charged separately, and the final amount exceeded all expectations. Similar stories are occurring throughout Europe.
The Austrian media Krone.at reported a case where guests in a tourist place were also shocked by the final bill, as they were not clearly informed about the prices of additions. How does such a thing happen?
