Robbery in Koper Resulting in Arrest and Criminal Complaint

Koper – Police officers from the Koper Police Station responded to a robbery incident that occurred on March 23rd at a mixed goods store in Koper. The perpetrator, a 37-year-old Bosnian citizen, threatened store employees during the commission of the crime, stealing cash from the cash register before fleeing the scene. Following the incident, police initiated an intensive investigation, gathering information that ultimately led to the identification of the suspect.

On March 27th, the suspect was located and detained. Authorities determined sufficient grounds for detention and imprisonment based on provisions outlined in the Criminal Procedure Act. After completing the investigative process, the suspect was released.

Subsequently, a criminal complaint was filed against him by the Regional State Prosecutor’s Office in Koper. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the robbery at the store.
