In Emonika, a five-star hotel will be run by Spaniards

New Tribe Hotel Planned for Emonika Complex in Ljubljana

Ljubljana’s burgeoning Emonika development is set to welcome a new hotel, marking the second Tribe hotel within the area. Following a lease agreement signed last spring between Mendoti Invest, owned by the Hungarian OTP group, and Mogotel Hotel Group, construction is planned for the end of 2027 in the northern section of the complex. The hotel will operate under the Tribe brand, managed by Eurostars Hotel Company.

Eurostars Hotel Company, already responsible for managing three hotels in Ljubljana, is solidifying its position as the leading hotel operator in the capital. With this addition, the company will oversee a total of 771 rooms, demonstrating a long-term commitment to Ljubljana’s growth and Central Europe’s expansion strategy. Eurostars Hotel Company, a global operator with over 300 hotels across 24 countries and ranking among Europe’s ten largest hotel chains, will also incorporate modern conference and event facilities into the new hotel.

The company’s existing operations already include significant presence within the Emonika area, with the Mendota hotel representing a key component of the development. This latest project further underscores the area’s potential and anticipated growth.
