Dave Grohl Focuses on Family Reconciliation Following Public Disclosure
Dave Grohl recently discussed his efforts to reconnect with his family, including his long-term girlfriend Jordyn Blum and their three daughters, during an appearance on The Dish podcast. The Foo Fighters frontman addressed a public disclosure made a year and a half prior regarding his family situation. In the initial announcement, Grohl revealed the arrival of a new child and admitted to infidelity.
He has a 20-year-old wife, Violet Maye, and three daughters – Harper Willow (17) and Ophelio Saint (11). Following the public revelation, Grohl has been prioritizing family unity. Speaking about his return from touring, Grohl stated he prefers to cook meals for his family.
“When I come home from tour, I like to cook for the family,” he explained. “It can be a Sunday roast or a pasta dish, which gives my children comfort.”
The musician acknowledged the challenges presented by becoming a fourth father, noting, “I became a fourth father recently, and my daughter’s mother is not my wife.” He has been working to rebuild relationships within his family following the significant public attention.
