Haaland’s hat trick put Liverpool down

Manchester City secured a dominant victory over Liverpool in their FA Cup quarterfinal match, winning 4-0. The game unfolded with City taking a 2-0 lead before halftime. Erling Haaland was once again instrumental, scoring twice – in the 39th minute and again in the 57th minute – to effectively seal the result for the hosts.

The initial goal, a precise strike, shifted the momentum early in the match. Antoine Semenyo added to City’s advantage just before the break, extending their lead to 2-0. Liverpool had a significant opportunity to respond, but Mohamed Salah missed a crucial penalty in the 52nd minute, further widening the gap.

The final score of 4-0 reflected City’s complete control of the match. Elsewhere in the FA Cup quarterfinal matchups, Chelsea defeated Port Vale 4-0, Southampton drew with Arsenal 0-0, and West Ham secured a 2-1 victory over Leeds.
