GaiaCell will provide access to samples, parents insist on the enforcement of the JAZMP decision

Medico Veritas Expresses Concerns Over JAZMP Access to Samples and Client Data

Medico Veritas, operating under the direction of GaiaCella Gordana Kalan Živčec, has voiced strong objections to recent actions by the Public Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices (JAZMP) regarding access to its Origin cell samples and client data. Ms. Živčec believes JAZMP’s requests for entry into Medico Veritas’ premises are solely to provide the samples for unidentified clients.

The agency issued a decision granting Origin cell access to review the personal documents of all clients. Ms. Živčec asserted that Medico Veritas will permit entry and unhindered access to the samples, emphasizing that the company will not “participate in violent transfers.” She further stated that she does not accept responsibility for any incidents or potential damage to the samples, maintaining their safety.

Medico Veritas stores its samples at its headquarters, which shares an address with GaiaCella, while client documents are held within GaiaCella’s facilities. Ms. Živčec expressed concern about the lack of transparency surrounding the clients receiving the samples and the potential implications for data security.

The agency’s actions have prompted a statement from Medico Veritas, highlighting their commitment to safeguarding both the integrity of their research and the privacy of their clients.
