The parking lot in front of the former Lipa is officially open. “Welcome hikers of Šmarna gora!” The Tourist Association STEZA Šmarna gora, which is allegedly owned by the former Lipa boss Robert Tomas Zavašnik, announced its reopening on Facebook on Monday. What is more, they are again collecting parking fees.
When we presented ourselves to them, they showed us the door. “You have been causing problems for 30 years, you created these problems, just go away,” Zavašnik told our press team today. But let’s go back a month, when Zavašnik’s, who – even though they shouldn’t – put up the gates and charged parking fees at the parking lot, were once again visited by inspectors from the Slovenian Tax Administration (Furs).
Because the violations continued for a long time, in April they took a more radical measure – they blocked the entrances to the parking lot.
