Eurovision drama: no points for Ukraine, director of Moldovan TV resign

Moldavian public television director Vlad Turcanu resigned from his position after the Moldavian jury’s vote in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest last Saturday in Vienna. The Moldavian jury awarded Poland 12 points, Israel 10, Romania 3, and Ukraine none. Such a result caused numerous criticisms and negative reactions on social networks in Moldova and Romania, which led to the resignation, public lynching of the jury members, and even intervention of the Moldavian minister of culture.
