The country was hit by rain: possible stronger thunderstorms and local downpours

Rain or thunderstorms are expected this afternoon in some areas. Winds are anticipated from the southwest, with southerly winds strengthening along the coast. Daytime high temperatures are forecast to range from 14 to 19 degrees Celsius, while the northwest region may experience temperatures around 12 degrees Celsius.

This evening and into the early part of the night, thunderstorms and showers are possible across various locations. Conditions are expected to gradually improve during the latter part of the night, with rainy weather noted for Ljubljana. In the afternoon, precipitation is expected to increase slightly, covering all of Slovenia.

In some areas, southwest winds are forecast, and southerly winds will strengthen along the coast. Overnight, the lowest morning temperatures are predicted to be between 6 and 12 degrees Celsius, with alpine valleys potentially reaching as low as 3 degrees Celsius. Daytime high temperatures are projected to be from 12 to 17 degrees Celsius, and the northwest region may see temperatures near 10 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, thunderstorms are anticipated forming over western and parts of central Slovenia this afternoon and evening. Again, southwest winds are expected in some locations, and southerly winds are set to strengthen along the coast. Overnight low temperatures are estimated between 6 and 12 degrees Celsius, with alpine valleys near 3 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs ranging from 12 to 17 degrees Celsius, with the northwest around 10 degrees Celsius.
