As explained by the Police Department in Novo mesto today, the police officers found out during the procedure that the man did not have a valid driving license. The court had already taken away his driving license due to his previous traffic violations. He was also driving a non-registered, uninsured and technically uninspected car.
As he showed signs of being intoxicated, the police officers ordered a test, which showed 1.16 milligrams of alcohol in the exhaled air. The procedure was then further aggravated. The offender insulted the police and threatened to kill them, so they had to use force to control him.
They seized the vehicle and will file an indictment against him for numerous traffic violations. The police will also take action against him because of the threats he made.
