Attacks Target Energy Infrastructure in Crimea

Multiple attacks have targeted energy facilities and logistical infrastructure within Crimea, according to reports. Ukrainian forces claim to have conducted coordinated strikes against key locations across the peninsula in recent days. The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, stated that the attacks resulted in power outages, primarily impacting energy infrastructure.

Prior to these attacks, Russian anti-aircraft defenses reported downing nine Ukrainian drones over the city. Ukrainian officials assert that their operations targeted critical Russian assets. Specifically, a railway bridge near Rozdolne, utilized by the russian army for supplying units in southern Ukraine, was damaged by special forces and resistance groups.

Further targets included the Kerch thermal power plant’s oil depot, an electric transformer station west of Crimea, and a liquefied gas distribution station. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed these strikes as part of a broader effort to disrupt Crimea’s supply lines and energy capabilities. The reported attacks underscore the ongoing conflict and the strategic importance of the region.
