Slovenian Charity Cycle Continues in 12th Year
A familiar and impactful event has resumed its course across Slovenia, marking the twelfth iteration of a significant charitable initiative. The “Land of Heroes” campaign, initially spearheaded by one individual, Miho Deželak, continues to connect the nation. Recent efforts began several days ago with current ambassador Cene Prevc, who joined the caravan at its initial stops.
The team subsequently visited Grosuplje, where they continued the journey alongside Prevc. “I was already aware of the scale of this action and its remarkable growth from a single cyclist,” stated Prevc. “The numerous meetings and events along the way are truly astonishing to witness firsthand.
It’s incredible how this action has evolved into a large community, uniting Slovenia.”
The campaign aims to positively impact the lives of numerous children. Prevc emphasized, “If we achieve our goal of maximizing the impact on as many children as possible, the entire endeavor will be worthwhile.”
