Current weather forecasts indicate that temperatures will remain high today, ranging between 33 and 38 degrees Celsius. A slight cooling is anticipated for tomorrow. Over the weekend, the heat in the interior regions of Slovenia is expected to diminish slightly on Friday and Saturday.
However, afternoon temperatures are projected to remain elevated, between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius. The Primorska region, in particular, is forecast to maintain a high temperature near 34 degrees Celsius. In terms of precipitation, the northern half of Slovenia is most likely to experience rain and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening.
Rainfall totals are expected to be higher in the Gorenjska and Koroška regions, potentially reaching 10 to 20 mm, while central and southern Slovenia may receive up to 5 mm. Looking ahead, the period of warmth is set to return. By the second half of next week, most areas of the country can anticipate the highest daily temperature nearing 35 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, however, a slight moderation in the temperature is predicted, with readings around 34 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists advise monitoring these fluctuations in degrees and celsius as the weather system evolves. Overall, while some relief is expected this weekend, the general trend suggests sustained warmth across the region.
