Alex Marquez experienced a slower start to the current motorsports season compared to his performance last year. Initially, the rider was actively accumulating points and even briefly held the lead alongside his brother early in the season. However, his results at the first three races of the year have been notably weaker.
Marquez failed to secure any points during the Thailand Grand Prix. He finished seventh in the sprint race in Brazil and sixth in the main Sunday race. On Saturday in Brazil, he achieved fourth place, followed by seventh in the qualifying test in the United States.
The Spanish rider acknowledged his disappointment, stating that he had anticipated a more competitive beginning to the season. He openly expressed the difficulty of adjusting to his reduced level of performance and acknowledged that he is currently not as dominant as he was previously. Marquez is focused on improving his results moving forward.
