Three Vehicles Involved in Motorway Collision Near Zagreb

A series of related incidents occurred on a motorway near Zagreb, Croatia, involving three vehicles and resulting in a multi-vehicle stop. The initial incident occurred when a 34-year-old Croatian citizen lost control of his car due to excessive speed. The vehicle left the roadway and executed a turn.

Shortly after, a 51-year-old Croatian citizen, also driving at an unsuitable speed for the road conditions, entered the right lane and collided with the vehicle directly in front of her, which was registered in Slovakia. The 48-year-old Slovak driver reacted by braking and steering right to avoid a direct impact with the first car. Following the initial collision, a 31-year-old driver lost control of his car and struck both the 51-year-old’s car and the Slovakian vehicle.

All drivers and passengers exited the vehicles at the scene, as reported by police. The vehicles came to a complete stop on the right side of the motorway.
