A new U.S. attack on a boat in the Caribbean Sea

US Forces Conduct Multiple Operations Targeting Drug Trafficking Vessels in Caribbean

Southcom reported that intelligence data confirmed a vessel was operating along known drug trafficking routes within the Caribbean Sea and had been involved in transporting illicit substances. During a recent operation, three individuals suspected of drug trafficking were killed. This action is part of a sustained US military campaign targeting vessels suspected of smuggling drugs into the United States.

Since September of last year, the US Armed Forces have conducted at least six such operations, primarily in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific regions. These operations, authorized under the direction of President Donald Trump, are focused on disrupting drug trafficking networks. According to reports, more than 180 people have been killed in these engagements.

The US continues to grapple with the significant challenge posed by the flow of drugs, prompting ongoing law enforcement and military intervention. Information regarding these operations is disseminated through various networks, including X, to maintain public awareness. The focus remains on combating drug trafficking and disrupting operations within the Caribbean and wider Pacific regions.
