Traffic Delays Reported on Motorway Routes Between Maribor and Celje

Significant traffic delays are currently impacting motorway routes between Maribor and Celje. A substantial caravan of vehicles is ahead of the Slovenj Gradec exit, approaching Celje just prior to the exit point. Near the Slovenj Gradec tunnel, two lanes are merging into a single lane, causing a disruption to traffic flow.

Our reporter, Mojca Hanžič, reports that this congestion is extending travel times along the road from Maribor to Celje by at least thirty minutes. Traffic information indicates that the standard route from Maribor to Ljubljana currently takes approximately one hour and 47 minutes. Furthermore, alternative routes are experiencing delays.

Travel from Maribor to Ljubljana via the opposite direction is estimated to take one hour and 22 minutes. Adding to the disruption, traffic is blocked on the Styrian motorway at the Domžale junction, impacting routes towards Maribor. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays and to monitor traffic conditions closely before planning their journeys.
