Authorities in Celje reported to Italian security officials early Friday morning regarding a stolen Honda motorcycle that had been taken in Trieste. The motorcycle’s owner was utilizing a GPS tracker, which indicated the bike was on the motorway traveling toward Ljubljana before the signal abruptly ceased. Their investigation led to the interception of a combination vehicle and a trailer at the Lopata rest area. The primary vehicle bore french registration plates, while the trailer displayed Moldovan plates. The operation involved a Romanian citizen driving the combination, accompanied by two other Romanian passengers.
During the thorough inspection of both the vehicle and the attached trailer, law enforcement officers recovered several items and additional motorcycles.
