Traffic Accident Reported in Most na Soči Involves Two Vehicles
The Nova Gorica Police Department reported an early morning traffic incident on the main road through Most na Soči, a settlement within the region. Police officers from the Tolmin Police Station responded to the scene following a collision involving two passenger vehicles. Preliminary investigations revealed that a 47-year-old driver was traveling from Bače pri Modreju towards Most na Soči when the accident occurred.
The driver failed to maintain a safe distance, resulting in a collision with a passenger car driven by a 34-year-old man. The second driver had reduced his speed due to preparing to make a right-hand turn. A speed limit camera was also equipped in the second vehicle.
Tragically, one of the passengers, an infant, sustained physical injuries as a result of the impact. Emergency medical assistance from the ZD Tolmin team was immediately dispatched to the scene, providing initial treatment. The infant was subsequently transported to a hospital via ambulance for further evaluation and care.
The police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident in Most. The two vehicles were involved in the crash.
