She was in good shape, healthy and strong. The disease took her away in one day

The ongoing meningitis outbreak in Kent remains widespread, with seven additional individuals confirmed infected, bringing the total case count to 27. These cases are all linked to the Canterbury Chemistry club, prompting Health Minister Wes Streeting to issue a critical call to action. He is advising everyone who attended the club between March 5th and March 15th to receive vaccination and continue their prescribed antibiotic treatment.

The Chemistry club, identified as the origin of the outbreak, has now encompassed all University of Kent students, resulting in substantial queues at the vaccination site. Yesterday evening, approximately 1600 people had been vaccinated, while 100 individuals were unable to receive treatment by 5 pm due to staffing limitations, as reported by the BBC. The eligibility criteria for free vaccination has been broadened significantly, with the University of Kent confirming all students are now included.

This surge in demand is creating considerable delays and logistical challenges at the vaccination center.
