Vučić after the elections and the fights at the polling stations: We won 10:0

The recent elections saw Aleksandar Vučić describe the outcome as a decisive “10-0 victory” against the opposition and student-run newspapers. Results were particularly unclear in the Kula district of Vojvodina, where the SNS ultimately won by 530 votes. The elections were held across ten municipalities: Aranđelovac, Bajina Bašta, Bor, Kladovo, Knjaževac, Kula, Lučani, Majdanpek, Sevojno, and Smederevska Palanka.

These areas encompassed a combined electorate of under 250,000 voters. Throughout the day, media aligned with Vučić have been reporting on alleged attacks against supporters of the SNS. Simultaneously, opposition observers, student movements, and non-governmental organizations have leveled serious accusations against the ruling party.

They claim the SNS engaged in harassment of citizens, working in conjunction with the police, and established conditions that undermined a fair electoral process. Independent observers and opposition lists documented numerous incidents and irregularities throughout the election day. It is evident that the opposition contested the results, highlighting a period of significant challenge for the SNS as they won the elections.
