Slovenian text: Slovenian politics is less than a day apart since the new government was formed. The coalition agreement was signed by the parties the day before the new prime minister was elected, and among other things it proposed the incorporation of the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption (KPK) into a completely new prosecutorial unit Skok. This unit would deal with the prosecution of corruption and criminal acts among public officials, civil servants, judges, prosecutors.
Mahnič would have only foreigners in Skok, the leader of the parliamentary group Democrats Tadej Ostrc said: “The fight against corruption, the political will has been built, and what we call Skok is now being formed. I believe it will come to life in full.” Meanwhile, the president Nataša Pirc Musar is critical that the establishment of such an organ should be reconsidered. “Let’s ask ourselves what we are missing”
