It sounds like science fiction, but a British company CrossSense is developing just such technology. Their assistant with artificial intelligence Wispy is designed for people with early dementia – so that they can live safely at home for as long as possible.

And this invention has just received a prestigious award worth 1.15 million euros. The need for such solutions is growing: today there are around 57 million people with dementia, and by 2050 there will be almost three times as many.
