An Estonian tourist paid 350 euros for two nights for a group of four, noting a desire for lower prices. Some landlords have reportedly increased rates, a move that contradicts calls for price controls from both the Minister for Tourism and the Prime Minister. “We are observing instances of price increases on the ground,” stated a source, “but the question remains: at what price?” The ongoing situation highlights the challenges of managing tourist demand and accommodation costs within the popular Croatian destination.
