Couple Accused of Extensive Theft Ring
Authorities are investigating a couple accused of a prolonged and sophisticated theft operation spanning from 2015 to 2025. Investigations reveal the couple allegedly committed 335 robberies during this period, resulting in the theft of approximately 1.3 million euros. According to reports, the primary method of operation involved stealing funds from vending machines.
The stolen money was subsequently deposited into a private bank account, which was then used to purchase vouchers for supermarket goods. The wife is alleged to have consistently assisted her partner in carrying out these activities. Investigations have also uncovered a separate series of robberies dating back to 2015.
However, due to the expiration of statutes of limitations, prosecution on these older cases is currently not possible. In total, the couple is accused of stealing nearly two million euros over a decade. Records indicate they allegedly stole almost 584,000 euros during the period between 2015 and 2025.
