36 percent of workers are thinking about quitting!

Many employees are losing significant time at work each month due to the increasing use of digital tools and technologies. Data indicates that the average worker loses between 1.3 and 1.5 days per month to what is known as the “digital barrier.”

This phenomenon arises from the time spent learning and adapting to new digital systems, particularly those related to artificial intelligence, which have been implemented within workplaces. Often, these tools are introduced without sufficient consideration for their practical application.

Despite investments in training these digital skills, a considerable amount of time is still dedicated to mastering systems that ultimately remain unused. HR Xcel notes that an overabundance of digital certifications does not necessarily correlate with increased productivity. Instead, this situation frequently leads to chronic stress among employees and does not consistently improve operational efficiency.

The focus on acquiring digital skills appears to be consuming valuable work time without delivering the anticipated benefits.
