In his introductory speech, Radenko Mijatović emphasized that after an exceptionally successful year in 2024, when the national team qualified for the semifinals of the European championship, the under-21 team played in the European championship, and the past year was described as half successful. The men’s national team did not qualify for the upcoming World Championship in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and the other national teams more or less met expectations. Mijatović particularly highlighted the women’s national team, which qualified for the strongest group of the Nations League and advanced to the strength ranking of the International Football Association (FIFA).
