Electronics and folk music, and electronics and ballet – all of this will be combined by Uroš Umek in his big spectacle Umek 5.0 (Un-united). But that’s not all. If Umek takes on something, he takes it on a big scale or, rather, on a numerical scale, as he has invited Perpetuum Jazzile to his spectacle.
There will be 40 voices on stage, combining with techno music, and before that, he talked with two members of the group about the challenges of coordination in POPcast. ‘For 40 different opinions, very good organization is needed’ Umek and his studio colleagues Kristjan Virtič and Ana Marčun. The DJ was interested in how they could be so united and synchronized.
“We can have a very nice time, but it can also be very harsh,” Ana commented in a smile, when Kristjan explained that a lot of coordination is needed for 40 members.
