Two hours of fuel for free, the millionaire paid the bill

Swiss Billionaire Offers Free Fuel in Berlin, Requiring Children

Berlin – Swiss billionaire Beat Mörker, known for his success in the toilet paper industry, organized a free fuel refilling event at a Berlin petrol station, as reported by German publication Bild. The initiative was limited exclusively to drivers accompanied by their children. A Mercedes driver attempting to join the queue shortly before the event received a consolation prize of a pack of pink toilet paper.

Conversely, Laura Hühnert, who arrived with her two-year-old daughter, was able to fill her Ford’s fuel tank without charge, a transaction that would have otherwise cost approximately 89.46 euros. Hühnert shared her family’s changed habits, stating, “My husband no longer goes to the gym, we wear old clothes and buy less. We think every time whether we really need to take the car on the road.”

Mörker personally assisted at the pumps and traveled from Basel to oversee the operation.

The event aimed to highlight concerns about rising fuel costs and promote more conscious driving habits. The action involved drivers who brought their children with them.
