Police officers from the Koper Police Department responded to reports of a dog bite incident that occurred within one of the settlements in the municipality of Koper. According to official statements, the situation involved three dogs owned by a 59-year-old woman. The incident took place when a 65-year-old man was walking his own dog in the area.
During the encounter, the man reportedly became concerned for the safety of his pet. In an attempt to secure his dog, he physically restrained it. Following this action, one of the three dogs belonging to the woman bit the man on his hand, resulting in a minor injury.
The Koper Police Department confirmed that they were notified of the incident and are currently managing the necessary procedures. The police stated that they will take appropriate action once all relevant notifications have been collected. Furthermore, they confirmed that a formal report detailing the events will be submitted to the UVHVVR.
