Pithie Maintains Lead After Three Stages of Slovenian Grand Prix

Laurence Pithie continues to lead the General Classification following three stages of the Slovenian Grand Prix. The New Zealander secured a victory on Wednesday in Rogaska Slatina and achieved second place on Thursday in Ormož, marking his eighth career win and sixth victory this season. Pithie’s lead was extended as he finished ahead of Spaniard Ivan Cob (Kern Pharma) and Italian Stefan Oldani (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA).

Edoardo Zambanini (Bahrain-Victorious) completed the top four. Jakob Omrzel (Bahrain-Victorious) represented the best Slovenian rider, finishing 27th. Throughout the stages, Pithie has been consistently driving around the course, maintaining a position within the leading group.

Jan Tratnik, competing for Red Bull, concluded the stage in 42nd place, experiencing a time loss of 1:18 minutes. The shortest stage of the race highlighted the competitive nature of the event. The race continues with riders focused on strategic positioning and maintaining momentum.
