The dispute centers on services provided to Progros company workers during the construction of a local building last year. At the time, the workers regularly utilized a Dolenjska pub for their daily meals. According to sources familiar with the matter, the high volume of food orders led the establishment to offer reduced pricing and, at times, deliver the meals directly to the construction site for the convenience of the workers.
However, complications arose after the initial period of service. Documentation reviewed by this office, which involved coordinating with the pub owners, indicates that an outstanding debt of several thousand euros is owed by Boris Mijic. Records show that out of four invoices covering lunches and beverages, only the initial bill was settled.
The pub owners have reportedly been seeking payment of over €3,600 from Mijic dating back to March, April, and May of last year. Due to Mijic’s failure to remit payment for these services, the creditors have escalated the matter through the legal system. The outstanding balance pertains to the meals and related provisions consumed by the workers during the building’s construction phase.
The inability to settle the accumulated bills prompted the creditors to initiate formal execution proceedings through the appropriate court channels to recover the owed funds.
