On Saturday in the afternoon, a large number of motorists were driving on the Selo-Nova Gorica regional road and on the Soča road. Not only did they have their registration plates covered, but they also violated several traffic rules, according to the Police. Among other things, they drove across an unbroken separation line, and several drivers were allegedly driving recklessly.
There were 11 motorists. The Police tracked the group and stopped them near the settlement of Čiginj in Tolmin, and eight of them were issued payment orders for violation of the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. Under this law, the registration plates on a vehicle must be placed in a position predetermined by the vehicle manufacturer and must be visible and readable at all times.
They must not be damaged, bent, hidden, or otherwise concealed.
