New Government Formation Process Outlined Following Appointment of Ministers
The newly formed government is establishing its selection process, requiring consent for the integration of social media and third-party content. Users are also being asked to allow cookie usage. The government team will comprise fifteen ministers, with one individual designated without a specific portfolio responsibility.
The appointment process will begin with presentations to the DZ’s competent working body. Candidates will have three days, with a maximum timeframe of seven days following submission, to be reviewed by the committee. Should the committee deem the candidates suitable, a vote will be held in the plenary session by the DZ.
This vote will then be confirmed by a public vote of the majority of present deputies. The government will officially take office when more than two-thirds of the ministerial candidates have been appointed, excluding those holding specific portfolios. Currently, all candidates for ministerial positions have been identified, including Matoz for the role of Minister of Internal Affairs.
The process underscores the DZ’s role in overseeing the selection of ministers and ensuring a transparent confirmation process for the new government.
