In late March, Ljubljana’s city council adopted changes to the traffic regulation in Ljubljana, expanding the areas of paid parking in the city’s neighborhoods. The new regulation, among other things, now provides for parking on public parking spaces in residential neighborhoods to be paid at prices set for zone 3, which is 70 cents per hour during the day and two euros for the entire night. Residents will be able to park personal cars with a parking permit.
As a rule, one will be issued for each apartment, valid for 365 days, and cost 60 euros. If there are enough parking spaces in the neighborhood, a second and third permit will also be issued for the apartment, costing 120 and 240 euros, respectively.
