This commitment to the care and study of these creatures has seen consistent growth over the years. By 2023, the family became affiliated with the Miracle Bees on Bled, and two years later, joined the Exotic Animal Lovers Association Bioexo. Today, the collection boasts an impressive inventory, encompassing over 70 different types of beeswax combs and live foliage.
The family highlights the appeal of their specimens, noting that their attraction lies in the remarkable diversity of size, color, and shape exhibited by the combs. Beyond aesthetics, the members appreciate the gentle nature of the insects. They report that the creatures are generally quiet, harmless, and possess a specialized diet, feeding exclusively on leaves.
