The wind discovered more roofs in the northern Primorje

The strong wind caused significant damage across several Slovenian locations on Friday. In Idrija, a part of the roof of a business building on Vojkova Street was exposed by the gale. Similarly, in Levstikova Street, a section of tin roofing was partially detached from a derelict building, posing a serious hazard to pedestrians.

The same issue affected the roofing of the old primary school in Čepovan, revealing a part of the structure. Elsewhere, in Šempeter pri Gorici, a part of a storage tent was uncovered by the wind. Firefighters responded to numerous incidents, including the removal of several fallen trees due to the severe weather.

Reports detailed damage in Rožna Dolina near Nova Gorica, where a tree fell onto the road, and in Modrejce near Most na Soči. Furthermore, the center for information received reports from Kambreško near Kanal and Logje in the Kobariški region. The forecast for Friday indicates clear, but more acidic, weather conditions, largely attributed to the persistent wind.
