In a statement to the public today, the chairwoman of the DZ Committee for the Supervision of Intelligence and Security Services (Knovs) Janja Sluga reminded that the MP Žan Mahnič spoke at the DZ’s Thursday session about data that he said he had learned about at the first meeting of Knovs. Mahnič, in fact, spoke at the extraordinary DZ session about the Black Cube affair and said, among other things, that “not a single proof was heard, and we are the ones who were yesterday (Wednesday, ed. note) at the Intelligence and Security Services Supervision Committee, heard that these recordings were made by the Black Cube agency.” He also said in the course of the discussion that “it is talked about” that these recordings were made by “very interesting people,” and that he is extremely excited about the epilogue of this affair “given what was heard yesterday at Knovs and given that we were very constructive and with a constructive attitude, and given that we were very positive about the outcome of this affair.”
