Second Round National MMA Tournament Concludes
The second round of the national youth mma championships concluded recently, featuring a series of competitive fights across multiple weight divisions. The event, organized by VOYO, showcased promising young talent in a series of second-round matches. Competition was held across four youth categories: Youth B and Youth A, with weight classes ranging from up to 63 kg to up to 70 kg.
Notable matchups included Anje Kogovšek (MMA Gorillaz Vrhnika) against Aleksej Radaković (10th Planet) in the Youth B division, and Matic Rottman (MMA club Maribor – Center Samurai) facing Aleks Mušić (Ervin’s Gym). In the Youth A category, Lan Logar (Team Jurišič) competed against Jan Svenšek (Kinetika Maribor), while Luka Lotrič (Ervin’s Gym) and Tanai Agić (MMA Koper) battled in a closely contested match. Aleks Prelog (Kinetika Maribor) also advanced, taking on Marsel Antolic (Društvo borilnih športov Fužinar).
Further fights saw Amadej Drofenik Grašič (Kinetika Maribor) defeat Antonio Krizmanić (MMA Velenje), and Carlo Kirn (Double B Gym) overcome Erik Ponjavić (Ervin’s Gym). The tournament highlighted the continued growth and development of youth mma within Slovenia.
