The Božić and Tešanovića group allegedly plotted an abduction of Božić in Ankaran on November 15, 2019. Tešanović successfully evaded capture, and police discovered his remains buried within the forest in the Okroglo area of Gorenjska two weeks subsequently. The prosecution contends that the murder of Božić was meticulously planned by Klemen Kadivec, the alleged leader of the Slovenian Kavaški clan, alongside his brother Blaž, Drejc Kovač, Vladan Kljajević, and Bojan Stanojević, along with members of the clan’s broader parent association.
Semir Hajdarpašić, a Ljubljana businessman initially implicated in aiding the murder of Božić and attempting to harm Tešanović, faced a revised charge. The prosecution now alleges his involvement in assisting the commission of a criminal act. During her closing arguments, which spanned over four hours, Prosecutor Mateja Gončin stressed the significance of the incident as a criminal act.
Her focus remained on establishing the culpability of those involved in his death.
