According to our information, the National Audit Commission is expected to find serious violations of the law on public procurement. The contracts related to consulting and engineering services for the new business building are expected to be concluded unofficially by Dars with the consortium of companies AXIS and PROCTOR outside the tender and public procurement procedures. The National Audit Commission is therefore expected to file an indictment against Dars and the responsible persons, including the president of the management board Andrej Ribič, in relation to this.
However, this is not all. The second part of the proceedings, where Dars is accused of overpaying the construction of the building by more than 50 percent – from 19 to almost 30 million euros – is expected to be concluded unofficially by the National Audit Commission at the end of July or the beginning of August. Dars has not commented on the matter today.
