Popular “Svet Igrač” Film Franchise Draws Large Family Crowd
A family-focused event celebrating the “Svet Igrač” (Toy Story) film franchise drew a significant crowd in Slovenia, with organizers reporting widespread enjoyment among attendees. The event, supported by VOYO, featured activities catering to a range of ages, including a dedicated area for younger children. Event organizer Teja Jugovic noted the positive atmosphere, stating, “Everyone is on the slides, so they went to paint – it’s great because it’s a family day, that Cineplexx has so many family activities, so they just get lost.” The popularity of the film within Slovenia is evident, with many attendees expressing a long-standing connection to the franchise.
One attendee shared, “I watched all the movies with my friend, I watched all the parts in two days, and when I was little, I already watched this and I really like this film.” The event also included members of the Slovenian voice cast for the “Svet Igrač” series. “I have one role, the character Karl, a soldier who of course makes sure that everything is in order,” explained a member of the voice acting team. The event highlighted the enduring appeal of the toy film franchise and its continued relevance for families in Slovenia.
