The State Electoral Commission (DVK) reported a significant influx of votes following 14:00, totaling 1,179,769 valid ballots. Voter turnout reached 70.25 percent, reflecting a strong engagement in the election process. Thirteen thousand two hundred and two individuals cast their votes from overseas locations.
A substantial portion of these overseas ballots arrived via postal delivery to the district electoral commissions, with 8,100 valid ballots recorded on Monday. Further additions occurred on Tuesday, bringing the total to 767. However, data from diplomatic and consular representations remained incomplete, and a smaller number of ballots arrived directly at the DVK, contributing to the results announced today.
These figures are currently considered unofficial, yet they indicate seven lists have been elected to the National Assembly. The Freedom Movement secured 28.66 percent of the votes, while the SDS garnered 27.88 percent. The slight discrepancy in the number of votes highlights the close competition between the two major parties.
The overall count represents a large number of valid ballots, reflecting the democratic process.
