The fisherman is supposed to expect almost 100,000 euros in severo-vzhodno Slovenijo

Andrej Ribič has reportedly departed from his role at Darsa, the largest state-owned company. Following the expected departure, Ribič has made no public statements. Sources indicate that he is currently on vacation until the end of his term and is anticipated to have some remaining time from the previous year.

In preparation for his exit, he has already appointed Niko Drakulič to serve as a member of the management team to replace him. Ribič has overseen the company for approximately 600 days. Notably, Ribič is leaving Darsa without receiving a severance package.

Discussions surrounding the appropriate severance payment were reportedly the cause of an extended session of the supervisors’ meeting the previous day, with reports suggesting the meeting lasted for at least three hours. Under standard provisions, Ribič would have been entitled to six gross payments as severance pay for economic and business reasons, or through an agreement to resign from management, which would total approximately 95,000 euros in his specific case. Ribič had proposed resigning from the management for economic and business reasons to the supervisors, a proposal that reportedly caused a division among the board members regarding the severance pay issue.

Ultimately, the outcome was reportedly unfavorable for Ribič.
